Med Market Exchange seeks to simplify and streamline the process of buying and selling new and used medical equipment on our platform, with one of our top priorities being to make the shipping element as seamless as possible. We are revolutionizing this process by thoughtfully taking a number of deliberate and innovative steps, including the introduction of our exclusive OnePrice™ program. OnePrice™ is designed to eliminate confusion, deception, and other tactics some online sellers use to lure potential buyers to their website, online store, or other point of sale, and make it easier than ever and completely transparent, so our buyers know exactly how much they can expect to pay to own and receive an item listed on our site.
All users are expected to adhere to the Med Market Exchange shipping policy, explained herein.
SHIPPING OPTIONS
The options for shipping items listed on Med Market Exchange are made up of two primary components: Carrier and timeframe of delivery*. Our exclusive OnePrice™ program automatically includes the cost of 3-5 business day shipping on all purchases made on our platform. There may, however, be instances when additional shipping options are made available. There may also be less common circumstances that (due to size, weight, components, materials, or other factors) require shipping an item via carrier freight or other special delivery services. Buyers are, of course, always free to post their inquiry about additional shipping options in the “Questions” portion of the item’s listing page.
Med Market Exchange offers the entity listing the item (the “vendor”) the discretion of using the carrier of their choosing, as well as the option to provide the entity purchasing the item (the “buyer”) additional options for timeframe of delivery. Vendors may choose to offer next-day or second-day, as well as freight/specialty shipping services to buyers for an additional ‘shipping upgrade’ fee on their listings. Vendors are not required to offer any additional options, unless standard 3-5 business day shipping is truly not possible.
SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS
Purchases:
Med Market Exchange’s shipping policy requires each buyer to provide a valid shipping address for purchased items to be sent, and each vendor to ship a purchased item to an address provided by the buyer within three (3) business days of the purchase transaction being completed. Unless the buyer has selected an alternative option (provided at the vendor’s discretion), the item is to be shipped with a delivery timeframe of 3-5 business days. To avoid damage to the packaging or the item during transit, reasonable handling, packing, and care is expected with every item every vendor ships.
Returns:
A buyer who wishes to return a purchased item must ship the item back to the vendor within three (3) business days of the approval of the return request. To minimize disputes, we strongly recommend buyers to document any damage to the packaging or the item itself by taking multiple photos as supporting evidence of any claims of damage. Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer, must include tracking information, and must be shipped via an approved carrier.
